This May, at KISANY, we are celebrating Mother's Day in an extraordinary way: we are honored to announce our joining the Make Mothers Matter (MMM) network as the first social enterprise member.
Make Mothers Matter is an international organization that has been advocating for the recognition and support of mothers as key agents of change for over 70 years. By placing mothers at the heart of their mission, MMM strives to influence local and global policies towards a fairer and more balanced future.
At KISANY, our values deeply resonate with those of MMM. With a team of 126 artisans, 89 of whom are mothers, single mothers, or grandmothers, we are committed to transforming lives through work. These extraordinary women, often faced with major challenges such as violence and lack of education, have found in KISANY a path to independence and dignity. Every day, they prove that supporting motherhood is a powerful driver of social change.
Our partnership with MMM is a further step towards our common goal: to elevate the role of mothers in society and strengthen their impact as community leaders. To celebrate this new collaboration, KISANY is committed to donating 10% of all online revenue in May to MMM, to support their important advocacy work.
